No shortcuts. The more frequently you train the more calories you burn and the more weight you lose. However, this has to be done in tandem with a sensible diet. No point burning calories then pilling them back on again by eating crap. A mixture of weight training and aerobics is best. Aerobics for heart and lungs and weights to build muscle; muscle burns fat – even when you’re asleep.

I would recommend the Power 90 Workout. The workouts range from 30 – 42 minutes long. This workout will get you into some incredible shape.

For the legs, try to run for 30 minutes every other day.
For abs, just do 100 situps a night. It might be hard, so start with twenty. Next day, add five, and so on.
Push ups works better than anything else. ten real push ups ( Back straight, nose on the ground) a day works wonders.
Ride your bike around the block…. just once!
BUT if you need it gone, NOW NOW….b it can be done in seven days.
Over the seven days, in addition to as much soup as you want, there is a different diet for each day:
Day One- Soup and fruit. (no bananas)
Day Two- Soup and vegetables (no dry beans, peas or corn), and then a baked potato with butter at dinnertime
Day Three- Soup, fruit and veggies (no potato!) By today, up to seven pounds could be shed!
Day Four- Bananas (at least three) and skim milk- on this day, the body will need calcium and potassium.
Day Five- Soup, 10-20 ounces of beef and tomatoes (one can or six fresh)
Day Six- Soup and as much beef and veggies you want
Day Seven- Soup, brown rice, veggies, unsweetened fruit juice

Approved drinks- water, black coffee, tea, cranberry juice or unsweetened fruit juice. It is very important not to have alcohol or carbonated beverages- even diet.

good for you for not taking pills- they destroy your body. Shooting hoops also helps. :D
    Luck to you :)

Okay, right away I know you’re going to get a whole bunch of links and spam like "try acai berry!" Etc. I want you to read ahead, because this is coming from ME! No copy and pasting, I swear.
First things first. Water! No matter how much you hate it, don’t think of it as a bad thing, just add it into your daily life like it’s no big deal. Which it isn’t, really. Drink 1 cup before a meal, so it makes you fuller, drink it when you’re hungry, drink it when you’re thirsty. It quenches your thirst, that’s for sure!! :D

Next step: Working out!! Most people automatically think "Working out = boring, a chore." (I’m not pointing fingers, I’m simply pointing out the obvious). There are tons of exercises and sports that you might not have even heard of! Since you’re only 16, you should try something e.g. dance, with a friend. Every day, make sure you get 30 minutes worth of activity, not only to look good and feel good, but it makes you more alert and confident. Studies have shown that fresh air helps your mind remember up to 20% more…So go outside :) Even just to do your homework, since you’ve mentioned you’re busy with that. Plus, I’m sure you can find some time to do extracurricular activities, I’m able to do it and I have loads of homework. Don’t use it as an excuse to not handing everything in on time, though!

Then: Eating healthy. It sounds boring, but make it fun! Get all 4 food groups in…especially fruit, veggies, and grain products. (AND FIBER!)
Good luck and I know you can do it!!
