I don’t know if you … I don’t know if you got a chance to see but THE JACKHAMMER GOT JACKED UP BY THE “SGT”. Mostly on the ground, This was a one sided fight from the start. So i guess this was a ONE SHOT ONE KILL FOR THE SGT. Look closer next time Ortiz never looks the same in his fights. Better luck next time on your prediction.
yeah idk if the SGT … yeah idk if the SGT is ready 4 the JACKHAMMER…i looked up both of them on sherdog and by their wins..jared kicks on the floor and on his feet…his last fight was ref stoppage from the floor and the1 b4 that was tap out in the first round..lol..but I think STG’s best game plan is to stand up with the guy because jared has done alot of damage on the floor..i’ve seen both these guys fight and i think that we might have a STG killer on our hands…21 shoot SALUTE—RIP 2 THE SGT. VINCE ORTIZ
you may remember … you may remember anderson silva elbowing travis lutter into submission but the difference there was that silva had lutter locked in with a triangle. Lutter’s only options were to fend off the elbows with his 1 free arm or get choked out. anyways, just making an observation. again much respect to both fighters and academies as they produced a very entertaining fight.
all due respect to … all due respect to Cory and AIK but whoever was coaching him was doing a him a disservice by advising him to ‘push the head down and elbow.’ a cardinal rule of ground fighting is to establish position for submission/striking. by preoccupying himself with breaking ortiz’ posture and throwing the short elbows, he ignored any chance to sweep and as a result got mounted and submitted.
