The Belmont Club will be about the same as LA Fitness and 24 Hour Fitness.
You could try DG Boxing Gym if you want to start that kind of a workout, Frogs Club One on Bellflower the YMCA, or the Alpert Jewish Community Center. Yes, you read that right. They have a gym and it’s ok if you’re a gentile to work out there.

Hi There…….

Whilst I am from the UK A friend of mine trains every day and was having to spend 3 weeks on business in Long Beach and used the Belmont Club.

Whilst I can not recommend it from personal experience she said it was pretty good. Please find the link below.

perhaps even ask for a free 5 day pass to see if yo can ‘try before you buy’…..Does that happen in the US, certainly does i the UK.
