tom beach coach, i heeard that carbs help making muscle is that true? what kind of foods should i eat? how long should workouts be? i go to the skatepark to ride bike for two hours and then come home do push ups maybe another 30 minutes. maybe you can e-mail me at tailwhipbarspin@yahoo.com and i could help with something else. Thanks!
Hey,
What excatly are you trying to achieve?? Weight loss or muscle gain?
I will asume you you are trying to lose weight!
Carbs are good for energy and yes they help with building muscle. You want to start drinking lots of water, eating brown bread, lean meats, lots of veges and start eating more snacks during the day. Eat every 2-3 hours instead of 3 main meals.(speeds up metabolisum)
Depending on your weight, workout for around 40 mins.
I ‘m sorry but the question is really vauge. This site might be able to help you out if you are trying to lose weight!

I had Time Warner Cable dvr and I used to do this pilates on- demand off of the "free-on-demand" channel. It was 50 minutes long and it was pilates and yoga-ish with one girl leading the workout in pastel spandex with like two other girls behind her on a little patch of beach. They stopped featuring it on demand and I’d love to know where I could buy it. It was sponsored by Propel fitness water, otherwise I can’t remember the name!?!
I am not sure but our on demand uses a lot of workouts by this company, maybe you can find it on here…

Better Pic http://www.gainmuscle.net/gainmuscle.net.image.jpg or
http://www.aolcdn.com/aolr/guys-beach-body-six-pack-400a050307.jpg
Here
Since I lost 130 pound I can’t be exact but here I got a better picture than fine but you get the idea.
I’ve been going for 6-7 months- I’m getting there- but I want know how long it will take.
I’ve increase the weight every week by 5 pounds. I do the important exercises.
Workout plan
Day 1: Upper
Day 2: Lower
Day 3: REst
And repeat.
Any tips or advice would be nice.
Any
I never do the exercises in the same order
You’re going to hit a plateau. If not now, then soon. Doing the same thing all the time isn’t going to suddenly give you different results.
Accelerate your results by changing your program. Eat lots of food (chicken tuna veggies whole grains protein supplement etc), and try something like
Day 1: Back/Bi/calves (including deadlifts)
Day 2: rest
Day 3: Shoulders/tris/traps (including clean & jerks)
Day 4: rest
Day 5: Legs (quads and hams) (including squats)
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: Chest/calves (dumbbells, shoulders pulled back)
Day 8: rest
Day 9: rest
repeat
Do that for awhile (6-8 weeks). Then change something. The amount of reps you do, the amount of sets you do, the cadence of your lifts, your grip, the amount of rest you take… ANYthing!

How can i effectively lose three pounds per week? How many calories/hours of exercise are needed to lose two to three pounds per week? What forms of exercise are most effective to getting that "beach body" without a fitness club membership? I am able to use the treadmill I have at home and a few Cindy Crawford videos, my mom has from the late nineties. I am still growing so no diet that could possibly stunt my growth, please, oh and I know this fails to apply to fitness and diet, but a cute haircut for a person who has very high cheek bones and waist length hair ( without losing a lot of the hair!:D ) ? And my goal is too lose at least 15 pounds by, or before February 8th!
I would also like to make some long-term adjustments to my eating habits, such as kicking into self-control, portion-control, and stopping the sugar-kicks, how to acquire such skills…
In order to loss weight, you will need to find the root cause on your weight gain. Once you find out the root cause, you will be able to come out a weight loss plan that able to help to reduce your weight.
Only with a realistic weight loss plan, you will be able to achieve it easily.
In order to have ideal weight. few things to take note.
Diet
- Try to have plenty of starchy foods such as rice, bread, pasta, potatoes,
- Aim to have five portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables daily
- Use a moderate amount of dairy prod
Physical Activity
Getting active is one of the best ways to lose weight and keep fit. There are all sorts of activities and
sports that can get you moving and aid weight loss.
Calories and Weight
A pound of fat equals 3500 calories. To lose 1 pound a week you will need to expend 3500 more calories than you eat that week, whether through increased activity or
decreased eating or both. Losing 1-2 pounds of fat a week is a sensible goal

im 15 weigh 145lb. im 5′3 . i beeon on the south beach diet and i lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks…. but then i stopped it cuz i cheated so i was like whatever. im tryin to do it in a healthy way all winter long.
so what can i do? any personal trainers out there? i want to workout not excesive.. ill be walkin to skool everyday. and i want to get rid of cellulite i just have a little on my butt and upper thighs on the back.. and would doin lunges actually make my thighs bigger bcuz iim affraid of doing it because it might get bigger. people tell me it will get bigger but than shrink and just a tone will be left no fat. im not sure please help
I recommend walking and reduce your caloric intake as a good start, but only if the calories are excessive and/or are not good quality.
Walking everywhere and documenting it with a pedometer is a great way to start getting in shape. The pedometer will help keep you motivated. You can document your progress in a journal also. The where, when and with whom you walk with is up to you. Above all, exercise should be fun in order for you to keep it up.
In regards to your question and your personal weight, age and height, I think that you should focus on a long-term healthy lifestyle first. The healthy weight will come next and the weight will stay off.

I currently live in south beach, but will be travelling quite a bit out of both airports.. Its not so bad to Mia, but almost 25 miles to Fll airport.. i did a search and its 26 miles from FLL to Mia airport.. Im not really familiar with North Miami Beach or Aventura.. I would prefer to stay in Dade county, as opposed to Broward.. What is the
1)most central location to shopping, exact median between both airports,
2) close to the beach, would even consider beach front as long as its
3)not too far away from 95 and
4)not too far from any nightlife..
5) good shopping
6) good gyms- I belong to golds and ballys and even la fitness
Im 30 years old and starting to travel quite a bit and need the happy median right between miami and ft. lauderdale airports.. Based on the math.. I need 2 be about 12-13miles from each airport
Exact distance is less important than a livable neighborhood and easy access to transportation. The exact mid-point would be North Miami just off of I-95, an area that is divided between medium industrial & residential urban ghetto. Aventura may be the best option — it has everything you describe & you can practically bicycle to FLL & easy access via Miami Gardens Drive or Ives dairy Rd. to I-95 for the trip to MIA. If you want to be right on the Beach, just 5 min. over the causeway is Sunny Isles Beach.
