I go to my local gym every 4-5 times a week and work out there for about 90-120 minutes. I always work every part of my body there and make sure I do 10-12 reps on all machines and free weights, and different number of reps for abs depending on the excercise. I also make sure I do atleast 15 minutes of cardio. I’m 165 pounds, in decent shape and I am 15 years old. So how long will it take for me to get in the shape I want and what changes should i add in order to improve my workout for the body I want? Thanks!

I Desperately want to get fit before I go to uni in September so I can join social clubs like dancing and karate without the embarrassment of being desperately out of breath in the first 5 minutes! Theres also a beach and I’d really love to wear a bikini for the first time and not worry about my legs wobbling as I walk.
Iv’e just bought a super good cardio stepping dvd that always leaves me seriously breathless and sweating. It’s 40 minutes long, how many days of the week should I do it?
What else should I be doing? Any tips or suggestions?
I’m 5ft10, 152 lbs, 18 years of age. I carry most of my weight on my hips and butt.

hey there, great to see you have along term goal and have acted already,
The cardio dvd is great but to make it better in regards of spot reducing try to do some strength resistance workout prior to starting the dvd, check my blog under "thigh day" lol and i have some great thigh / hip exercises you can do at home as well as others http://myfitmate.blogspot.com/
things like leg lifts. squats, lunges, walking lunges (with or without weights assisted) prior to doing your cardio dvd would add so much more effect.
Also try to workout 4-5 times per week if time permits and moring is always best if possible.

At the moment I am about 42 pounds overweight.
I started my diet yday, and so far everything is going well lol
Gym workout everyday and salad for tea etc etc
I’m hoping for good results within the next few months…about April to reach my goal weight (is this realistic?)
Also, I sorta have a weird though fun ambition that for my 18th I want a beach party theme…and so want to look good and toned. Is this possible for October?…By toned I mean visible stomach muscle.

Check your body fat %. It has to be under 10 % to look toned.

Ok, so my friend is having a beach party on the 8th and
I wanna go but my stomach isnt toned, I have baby fat and a little pooch, I have a little over 2 weeks…is that enough time to tone up and burn extra fat? I’ve been running two miles a night, should I keep this up and add ab workouts?
that sounds good and you should be able to note a difference in two weeks with running and ab workouts. keep eating though, don’t skip meals, that is really important as well.

Hello I live in Parlier cali (central california)I am looking to know more about doing positive things. in the community I just moved here from Long beach and there is absolutely nothing for people to do. I want to start a fitness center who can i ask for donations?????
You would need to look into possible government grants. Is there a YMCA?? in your area?? They usually come into area where they are needed.
