My instructor trains us for aerobic ‘burn-outs’ and says we need to be able to go as long as possible without drinking water. We have very intense workouts, but really enjoyable. Lots of party & soca music. Sometimes I go for a swim at the beach after as the salt water helps my muscles. So with the salt and the hot Caribbean sun, I’m thinking those water breaks are important, but I don’t want to compromise my burn-out endurance.
Why does your instructor promote dehydration? The better hydrated you are, the better you will perform. You should sip as needed according to the rate at which you sweat. You’re not a camel- your instructor is mistaken about the aerobic "burn-out" thing- it’s not going to do you any good. In fact, it could be dangerous if you were to become severely dehydrated.

i know some of you might say a month isn’t long enough, you need more time, but i dont want really defined abs, pecks n muscles.
i dont want extreme muscles and all that, just so that my abs show, my pecks have some shape n my biceps n triceps gain in size n strength a little. i tried a lot of gyms n different types of excersises but cant seem to do it, in a month i go on holiday n i was hoping after all ive done i would have the beach body i wanted, but i have a month left.
if anyone has any fitness programs they can write down or excercies i should do i would greatly apreaciate them.

Sorry to rain on your parade but this can’t be done naturally. Building the beach body you want takes time and can’t be done in a month without severe issues.
First of all, do all the resistance exercises you want and it will count for nothing if your muscles are covered with fat. If you’re a skinny guy then good for you, you don’t need to worry about that.
Now, if you want to get really big you’ll need to cheat. The only way to do this is to use steroids but I don’t recommend that. In fact I’ll tell you they will cause more harm than good so it’s really not a good thing for you to do.
Otherwise give it time, eat more protein and maybe look into using some legal supplements like creatine.

I’m trying to count calories and added walking as my exercise. I seriously don’t have time to work out hours at a time or do anything to complicated for a workout. I have 3 small kids, a full time job, and my house duties daily to do, so the simpler the better. I even started taking the little ones with for the walk cuz we live near the beach and they think it’s great.
I’m guessing that losing 150 pounds will take anywhere from 1 and a half years to 2 years depending on how fast you lose.
On another note, I think that taking walks is a great idea! In my opinion, it’s better to start slow than to do too much or do nothing at all. Frankly, if you are going to do another exercise I would recommend swimming, since it doesn’t put too much stress on your joints.

I KNO ITS LONG, BUT IT WUD RELY MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!
ok so im in florida w/ my folks over the summer, next year ill be in 11th grade and i wanted to start working out beacause … like im gd lkn but kinda musuleless. i look puny, when i look in the shower the biggest thing on my body "shouldnt be the biggest". so i wana wrk out so that next year i have abbs, and a 6pack (i dont wana get too big, like arnold swachenater or nothing) im not fat either
so the problem is that the fitness center in our hotel caugt on FIRE the week b4 we got there. we r in front of a long @$$ beach and and i need a work out scedual or smn like dat.
any body whose done pevious work out pleaz help … and remember, only post things that dont recuire a fitness center. i cant drive to any either cause the closest one is wayyyy 2 far. plz help me, this vacations made for me to better myself both physicy and mentaly

well to get bigger you need to eat a lot more. but eat right. try to cut out sodas and keep your meals full of protein and carbs (like roast beef sandwiches, or spaghetti pasta). a great ab workout is on the website below.
